Paul Davies BSc Hons MRICS MaPS FRSA
Managing Director

A professionally qualified Building Surveyor with a degree in engineering who has principal responsibility for delivery of Health & Safety Management to a wide variety of Residential and Commercial Clients. Paul has extensive knowledge of the design and construction of building and civil engineering projects and considerable experience of the insurance industry; he managed a team of building surveyors for a major insurer and wrote their technical standards for new home construction as well as developing portable on-site IT surveying systems, before establishing GHP Consultancy, SPD Architects and Safety As Standard.

Stephen P Prismall Dip Arch RIBA
Director

A professionally qualified architect with extensive experience in residential and mixed use schemes ranging from individual houses, to overseas projects exceeding £240M. Prior to running his own practice, Stephen was Chief Architect for a number of national Development/Construction companies where he managed multi-disciplinary teams, dealing with architecture, planning, engineering and landscape.

Gareth M Thomas BA(Hons) BArch(Hons) DipArchPrac RIBA
Architectural Director

Gareth is a professionally qualified architect whose has experience of managing and running projects from extensive city centre flat developments, student housing development schemes as well as working in the Housing Association and Commercial markets developing and managing bespoke schemes for clients. Prior to joining SPD Architects, Gareth's working life has taken him as far south as Devon, as far west as Ohio and as far north as Nottingham!
